I really like Gotham, only the pilot and second episode are out. It's a really cool, DC Comics based, crime solving show.

Yeah I'm in the UK and it airs this month on 5 USA, and it looks like i'll love it.

Also to everyone else, I watched about 10 minutes of Longmire and Im liking it so far

And I haven't seen any others

NYPD Blue

Hill Street Blues

Starsky & Hutch (original, not the crappy movie re-make)

Life

Life on Mars (both UK and USA)

I forgot the classic Starsky & Hutches I absolutely loved em.

Well, one of my suggestions is The Mentalist, (Earlier seasons was about a fictional CBI, now it's the FBI)

I highly recommend the movie "The frozen ground", it's about an Detective (Or two actually, but only one of them is the main character.) that is investigating disappearances and killings of young girls, mostly prostitutes.

It has quite a lot of nudity, swearing, graphic violence and such, and it's rated R because of that.

I saw a few episodes but I'll have to watch more before I decide if I like it or not

I love these suggestions (20 replies overnight is the most I've gotten of any thread I've made on any site) and I'll give them all a watch if I can (I'm in the UK so some of them may not be available for me). I'll give Gotham a watch when it airs in the UK and I'll see if NCIS LA, L&O SVU and a few others are on 5 USA.

Considering you live in the UK, The Bill.

It originally ran from 1984 to 2010 and with 2400 episodes you'll be occupied for a while.

I'll give it a watch, although I prefer the american ones.

I've alraedy said, it airs in the UK this month and I will watch it. That reminds me, the new episode of Chicago PD is on in half an hour

The Wire - the best police drama I've ever seen.

Another one : FLASHPOINT. If you like tactical stuff, then you will definitely like this. It's on Netflix, but I'm not sure if it is still running. (Probably not)

Almost forgot, check out Due South.

Can you give me any idea of what it's like or where it is based on?

I'll give it a look anyway and thanks to everyone for all these suggestions.

There's a new series that just aired wed. on CBS. It's called Stalker, it's about a division in the LAPD that assess threat levels throughout the city, and primarily deal w/stalker cases. Pretty damn interesting.

Here's a trailer -

Sadly I don't get CBS, but it looks like I'd like it. If I ever do get CBS (Or Netfix if it has this show on it) I'll watch it. Currently I'm busy with the new series of CSI NV and NCIS Series 9 that just aired in the UK along with IRONSIDE

And I forgot a comedy police series: Brooklyn Nine-Nine (on FOX).

Not looking for comedies but I'll watch it if I can

I'm surprised nobody has said Blue Bloods yet

Not seen it, and I don't think it's aired in the UK

Another? This isn't a TV show, but it is a movie. "End of Watch". My FAVORITE cop movie I probably have ever seen. Gotta see it.

CHEERS!

Heard of it, but haven't seen it, I'll get Netflix or something and watch it

Know anything else about them before I go searching?

Been mentioned, I'll give it a look

One that I want to see (unsure if this even is a crime drama) is Blacklist, on Sky 1 i think its on

Hopefully I get a chance to see it on.

Question to anyone, would the new show Secrets & Lies be a crime drama (was on after CSI on Tuesday but didnt watch it)
