Stability Question

MODERATOR NOTICE

Moving to LCPDFR Discussion.

Neither. LCPDFR is not supported in any form of multiplayer gameplay, it will crash.

Unfortunately, that isn't answering the question that he asked. He didn't ask if it was created and optimized for multiplayer, he asked which game it was MORE STABLE on. We know that it will crash, because we've played it for so long. Since LCPD;FR isn't doing anything to make it easier for us to play online, we're looking for ways to play it with fewer crashes. I understand that you're a moderator, and that you have power to abuse, but if you cannot give any useful information when someone asks a question, you should not comment at all.

I apologize, It's 6:40 am and I just woke up :P To add to what I said, no game will be more stable in multiplayer with LCPDFR installed, you can however remove other third-party mods to decrease crashes that way. Model-mods and outdated scriptmods are the main cause for crashes in MP, so I would recommend removing these. I've also heard that EFLC might be more stable, but that it will take more resources from your PC (which might cause crashes in itself). That's all I can add.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

Thank you, that's what we wanted to know.

Which do you guys think is better or more stable GTA IV or EFLC for LCPDFR Multiplayer? And Why?

It depends on a lot of things. Too many variables exist to make it a black and white choice, otherwise everyone would be using the same version of Grand Theft Auto for this mod. On my previous computer, GTA IV ran far longer without crashing (AMD P2 955 X4 BE, GTX 570, Windows 7) and on my current computer which is more powerful (Intel i7 3770K, GTX 670, Windows 8.1), GTA IV is completely unusable with mods, and EFLC runs great unless you travel to the last island. At that point you get massive texture loss until you travel back to a previous island for some reason nobody can explain to me.

So in short, it's random. Experiment and find what works for you.
