Made this support topic, because this was going on somewhere where it shouldn't.

So I have everything I need to play the mod... and I mean everything. 1.0.7.0 of the game, the .Net thing etc. My computer is verry good and I play the game without lag. Everything is great, I kill people, I drive and so and so. BUT ! when I press alt+p and go to the station to gear up the game throws me away and stops... Sometimes I play 20 seconds after I have pressed alt+p, sometimes more, but the thing is that it throws me away for no Goddamned reason. It still makes me the Send/don't send error. Sometimes even the Don't send error bugs and than I can finally play the game... Any help you can give me, I will be thanksfull as hell ...

Do you use any other mods?

(Like simple native trainer -> known bug with trainer enabled)

No, I'm only using 2 car mods. That's the NYPD Ford crown victoria and chevrolet suburban. But I don't get any errors before I start the mod, so they're not the problem. I don't use any other mods. I ever reinstalled the game. It didn't work. It gets send/don't send error and it says that GTA IV.exe has stopped working... Sometimes the game bugs but I can continue play normally, but I have to wish that to happen ... I really need to fix this

This is a very rare thing...

Can you post the "LCPDFRErrorLogging.txt" (You can find it under your gtaiv folder), so I can see if there are any denied folders or other things.

ps. do you launch gtaiv as administrator?

To run the game as administrator (W7 and Vista):

-go to the gta iv folder

-right click on LaunchGTAIV.exe

-go to properties

-go to the tab compability

-Check "run this program as administrator"

Normally every time it launch it would ask you to give it permission to run as the built-in account "Administrator", then just click yes.

If there still a problem upload your whole LCPDFR.log or from the last log start where you had the problem.

I've found your problem.

Your problem is that your LCPDFR can't spawn any ped, so every time he wants to spawn a criminal/civilian/... it couldn't complete the request so sometimes it crashes on creating it and sometimes on checking the spawned ped on it's coordinates (of course it doesn't excist). This can be a problem that your dsound/ScriptHookDotNet can't edit your RAM (because it doesn't have any permission).

So is there any way I can fix this ? I've downloaded the scripthook for 1.0.7.0 and the dsound.dll but I don't know if they're any good. Give me a link or something if you can or tell me how can I fix that. Oh, and by the way .. thank you very much for trying to solve this problem, I really appriciate this. I'm waiting for your answer

Ok ... I can't play it in administrator mode becouse I have windows XP and I can only run it in compatibility mode but when I do, the entire game collapses so it's not an option... If you have found something to fix the files or something else, please tell me

Now I think you normally can run it as administrator in xp.

Just do this (it may not be possible because of default windows options the administrator account has been disabled):

-go to the gta iv folder

-right click on LaunchGTAIV.exe

-go to run as ...

-Fill by username "Administrator" in (exact the same but without the quotes)

-Let the password field blanch (because normally it's not set)

-click ok

or watch this (only the first thing because i don't want you to mess up your pc, remember that your register is the most weak thing in whole windows if you wanna try):

Ok I have fixed my game. Now first of all make backup files of the savegames.Than I have deleted dsound.dll and downloaded xliveless and I've put the two xlive.dll files in the GTA IV directory. After that place your savegame files in the GTA IV savegame directory which is C:Documents and SettingsUserMy DocumentsRockstar GamesGTA IVsavegames . Start the game and you'll have no problem except that you can't play multiplayer ... But if you want it that hard you can always remove the xlive.dll files and place the dsound.dll to play online. When you just want to play the mod place the xlive.dll files and that's all ...

I have this mod installed in my game but even though I run as an administrator it will not allow me to go into a police station and choose a car/partner. Which version are you using?

To go on duty, you normally need to get into a police station where you also can find your partner. (press E in police station to view intro)

In version 0.95RC1 your car must be selected when leaving the police station. (you also start in the car when pressing enter)

When you drive a prisoner by your own to the station, it's normal that you don't get in the police station because the prisoner will disappear when you walk onto the red mark at the police station.

So if you want get into it walk away after the prisoner disappeared and walk again onto the red mark.

Strange I would think that your LCPDFR mod isn't started (alt+p to start the mod). But you say that you can play call outs and pull people over?

Post your LCPDFR.log here please.
