Right, this has been happening for alot of versions now GTA IV Loads fine and I press alt + P fine and choose a skin and patrol car fine then after all that about 5 maybe 10 minutes into the game it crashes A message comes up saying "GTA IV has stoped working" now i'v done a test and not gone on duty and it worked fine I was playing normal GTA (Not on duty) for about an hour, I have patch 1.0.7.0 and I have a vista desktop, I think it might be linked to loading a script becuase it crashes everytime I use a command :S its been happening for alot of versions and its getting rather frustrating im using Hotfix 1 and version 0.90F my other mods are ELS v6 but I tried playing LCPDFR without ELS and it did the samething... Crash I would "Really" want this to be solved so I can finaly get on the streets of Liberty City and fight crime, I havnt responded to one mission yet becuase of it crashing all the time and it sucks So pleaseeee help me.

Won't even look at what you wrote unless you run the diagnostics tool and post what it says.

Liberty Police City Departement? Anyways, when you press the command and it crashes, what command it exactly is?

Nope no other mods not even vehicles mods just crashes still dont know :S

I don't see any reason why you are crashing....hrm...all i can think of really...is that you might have a corrupt game file...but im not the expert

The thing is that its been happening for ages i'v uninstalled and re installed my GTA about 10 times ever since this has been starting so if it was currpt then it would have been sorted... unless its my disk :S although then the crashing would have happend with the base game (no mods) but it doesnt :/ ??????

I honestly have no clue....

Argh pissed off now any ideas on getting any help or atleast something to try :'( ?

You said scripthook :S, but yes I do have xliveless dsound doesnt seem to like my GTA it crashes it although I "can" give it a try now if it would help?

Btw I tried Dsound and nope does what Dsound allways does... crash before the game even starts :S
