What's the best ENB for GTA IV?

There's no best or worst ENB, they're all different. Some require a good hardware, some doesn't, some have lens flare, some are sunny etc.

I really like iCEnhancer (with some modifications, needs a good PC though) and Rextex128/StolenFX (www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPWqpr9VXDY) settings which have really nice ELS lights and work quite well with worse PCs.

I think that's a problem of 0.81 ENB version, try using the .dll of 0.82.

Are you using the antialiasing function in ENB ? Cause that works by resizeing your resolution and screws with police comp and the red circle markers.

If you mean the police comp is not working at all, then thats not because of the antialising function.

Oh that explains the problem, using 0.082 now without anti-aliasing. I am going to miss it :(

Check the ENB thread on Modding Chest. On the first page is a usefull link for a FXAA effect, I tried it and it works well. A bit hard to follow at first but it does work. Also lots of photo's of various peoples ENB efforts.

Sure, thats the reason, now I don't need to write I actually didn't even thought about that thread xDD

I posted some better instruction in another thread some time before, it's available By the way, it's possible to modify the shader.fx file to increase the quality. I uploaded the one I'm using in this (also using Rextex' ENB) picture, it can be downloaded here.

Somehow I missed that post on this forum about the FXAA. Even though I posted in the same thread.

Maybe at the time I just didn't understand it, or what it did.

Will give the shader.fx modification a try too.

I keep a seperate GTA IV folder for ENB just to see what can be achieved, even if most of the time I play without it.

So what is ENB? Is it just a way on enhancing the in game graphics?

I hope to god that rc3 is going to fix this super sampled resolution issue with the police computer...

I *think* I am using the Game4Video ENB, but I am thinking of using a different one, I really like it though. Not sure what I'm going to switch to, maybe iCEhancer. But I do like the Game4Video ENB.

Game4Video is only good for ELS, all the rest sucks compared to many other ENBs.... Anyway this thread is very old......
