Plus I sorta meant 3 and Parallel Lines, not alot of people likes it (sorta overshadowed by SA) but I loved it, 

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in the HD Universe (the RAGE engine), with the same plot, characters, and time period.

Mercenaries. That was a dope game. One of my favorites. The second ones sucked really bad.

 

I wouldn't mind seeing a really good Driver game. I loved Driver 1 and 2. 3 was okay, and 4 was trash. I thought DSF was okay.

Can I just ask why you think 4 was trash, I mean you have the right to your own opinion, but I loved that game, but everyone else seems to absolutely hate it. I mean it had very good car customization, good mission design, a good car list, decent ai and good police mechanics. I mean I know it was not as good as San Andreas but I have some brilliant memories of that game. My favourite is 2 though, the 1, the 4, then 3, then SF

That would be amazing, I actually got VC when it and SA where 75% off on Steam after GTAV on PC got announced, so I got them. I'm now trying to complete it with the New Vice City Script Mod

There's a mod out there that replaces almost everything in gta 4 to vice city. I think it's called Vice City Rage

That is brilliant timing as I was just making backups (A few Modded story backups and a modded lcpdfr backup aswell) and this would give me another way to play it

However, the Vice City 2 mod is an HD remake in EFLC. It is yet to be released, but it doesn't make a difference to me, since I don't yet have EFLC.

I do, on disc but the .exe is completely broken.

I believe New Vice City 2011 and Vice Cry are two different mods. Vice Cry updates Vice City's map and vehicles with remodeled and/or HQ textures, vehicles, etc.

 

The Hotfix and the installer are both available at the link I've provided earlier.

yeah, new vice city adds in a few new side missions, vehicle spawns, car shops, and enemies in missions, like the jury case mission near the start, easy on base game but at the end of the mission with new vice city theres 4 fib guys with uzi's. I have yet to get past it, I never was great at old GTA

Is there a way to keep the gta 4 peds, cars and weapons? I would love to do a Palm Beach Sheriff patrol with that map.

I havent used the mod but my geuss is to put all files in EXCEPT  the models folder, as that has the ped, cars, and weapon models in it

Ya, I thought DPL was pretty good. Never liked 3 and 4 as much as I liked the first two, though.

 

Anyway, they said they're not done with Driver series yet, so it looks like they're planning to do something more with it. Besides, It costed them so much to just buy the rights alone, not to mention making DSF. It wouldn't make any sense.

I loved 4, one of my favourite PS2 games

I don't know of a confirmed way to do it in VCR, but replacing the VCR vehicle files, componentpeds, playerped, and data files (.dat, .ide, etc) should work. Again, this isn't confirmed.
