i understand the guy working on many good modes around here, isnt around any more.

 

i want to ask if anyone could.. maybe the stuff - write on every mode the comptabilty to lcpd:fr versions.

 

because people like me download the mod and it crash in game and we dont understand why..

 

after going around the forums i relized the problems were in the mods and not lcpd:fr.

The thing is, someone may have an issue that no one else will have. Mods are very....difficult let's say, in terms of compatibility. They work different for everyone. Some people can play LCPDFR with a bunch of mods and not have any issues at all, and can play for hours on end. Whereas others will only have LCPDFR installed, and they have issues left and right. 

It's hit and miss. I've re-installed IV an unimaginable amount of times, and I always install the same mods however, some fresh installs with the mods I can play for a good hour, and other installs, I crash on the loading screen or 5 minutes into playing. Like CRAWFORD said, mods are VERY difficult in terms of compatibility. I myself use Abraxa's mods (coroner, towing, policehelper) and rarely crash due to those.

 

There is more chance of someone releasing a similar mod then update those in question.

 

All I can suggest is, if you scripts mods do crash whilst in game and don't crash you game, press " ' " or sometimes " ` " and write, "reloadscripts". This will restart scripts, fixing most errors and you'll just have to simply start the mods up again.

As Tozza and Crawford have said it's different for everybody. The key, for me at least, is to disable some things on most of the scripts. Like disable ambient situations on lcpdfr and turn off traffic violations on police helper. I run gta 4 a lot better if I limit the amount of stuff running at the same time.

Hard to say. No one knows for sure though. In my opinion highly unlikely. He himself hasn't logged on since January.
