Game Crashes. Errors in LCPDFR log

Featured Replies

Okay so I installed vdh PoliceHelper, and some other scripts listed below but since then it has been crashing within 1-10 minutes of starting LCPDFR (It has never really been stable). The game crashes usually whenever I am responding to a call or have somebody pulled over (It happens at random). The mods I have installed are LCPDFR 1,0c, ELS V8, Simple Native Trainer, vdh PoliceHelper, vdh Tow Service, vdh Medical Examiner, BraveHearts ANPR, Indicator script  and 4-5 car mods. I am using Xlive. Any logs I thought would helpful I posted below. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

My specs:

CPU: AMD FX 8350 4.0GHZ

GPU: GTX 650 1GB

RAM: 8GB's of Corsair Vengeance

You are using a ton of script mods. Does GTA IV still crash when using no mods? Only LCPDFR? etc.. You need to find the conflicting mod. Keep in mind that LCPDFR isn't supported with third-party mods.

Invenio, Investigatio, Imperium

It seems like my game crashes as soon as I install LCPDFR, not immediately after I start the game but after i've been playing for a while. Do you see anything wrong with the LCPDFR log? Or any of the other logs?

Edit:

Also I've seen other people use these same mods and scripts with LCPDFR and they run pretty stable.

And almost all of the mods I used are from the link about what mods you can run with LCPDFR

Those are mods that people recommend, it doesn't mean that they will work together with LCPDFR. Consider removing some of them.

I will try removing some, I still think its LCPDFR causing the problem because it was still crashing prior to downloading those scripts just not as often. The only mods I used before were ELS, LCPDFR, Simple Native Trainer, and police car mods. Do you see any errors in the logs posted above? I am asking you because you're one of the most helpful people on the forum but overall the forum is great! Thanks!

I removed all of the scripts except police helper and it seemed to help! Although I got an in game message about LCPDFR encountering an error, it said the error was listed in the LCPDFR log. In the log at the bottom is says "Failed to authenticate" and a few other things such as " Authentication: Error 0x320". I'm not an expert on this but maybe I need to reinstall LCPDFR, I did the manual install btw.

Well the game itself is not crashing but the Vdh mods have many bugs and crashes in game for me, I made a support request in the Grand Theft Auto IV section of the forum to see if anybody else is having this problem. Thanks Again!

That happens to me a lot aswell, just open the .net scripthook console and type reloadscripts and policehelper should restart itself.

Also, wow  such doge
