Alienware Computer..?

Featured Replies

about the build i posted and just wanted to say that my freinds build is quite simliar to it but he put few more bells and whistles in it but over all the 760 should be able to run gta fairly well and you will have no problem running the game with alot of mods and enbs and if you have a greater budget you can add a few more things like more fans and cpu cooler and what not. my pc specs are i7 4770k oc, gtx 780,16 gb ram, 2tbhdd, 250gb samsung evo ssd,h100i cpu cooler. and my freinds computer can run the game a exactly like my pc. and building it yourself is way more fun!

You do realize that's a notebook graphics chip and an i3 processor, right?   Yes, it will probably run IV with decent settings but you could get a much better system for the same price.

  • I have one, and I love it. It runs GTA IV on decent settings. In fact, it runs most games on decent settings. People often complain about Alienware products breaking alot, which has never happened to

What do you think of the computer that Altaf posted above?

Thanks!

Hey Pavelow!

I hear where you are coming from... I'm not buying a gaming computer just to play LCPDFR. I'm considering buying one due to the speed in browsing websites and of course playing Steam Games or etc. on it.

What do you think of Altaf's computer that he posted? Do you think I will be able to play other games on high settings aswell?

Thanks again!

Firstly avoid microATX. Some people like it, some people don't. Room for expansion, multiple slots for cards, etc.

Secondly, building on a budget, go with AMD cards. They're competitively priced cheaper. I use an R9, and I rarely run into "optimization" problems with games that people claim AMD is notorious for.

Finally, think about a slightly faster cpu. Maybe ~3.4 ghz.

Oh and maybe a 750w PSU. I prefer to have a lot of headroom.
