Skin Installation?

Featured Replies

Hi. I downloaded the skin changing thing for the different islands, so they have the certain skins. And I wanted to put my own skins on cars. So I watched a few videos and tried to install my skin. But, when I install it, it doesn't show up in game. I'm not sure why. I named it "police_sign_3" (just an example, but I did name it that, that was the real skin name.), I hit "save textures" or whatever it is in the top right corner of SPARK IV when you're editing textures, so when I hit save, it saved. Then I hit Rebuild and then Save. But in-game, it doesn't show up, only the original texture does, even though I set the script to have certain skins for certain islands to have skin type 2(skin police_sign_3). But it's not working. Any help?

Only add "+livery" to the end of the ID entry once for each car.

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.

Sorry, yes thats what i mean. i got mixed up with another file.

Open vehicles.ide with notepad and find the vehicle you want to have more than one livery.

Scroll to the right hand side of that vehicle entry and then add "+livery" at the end.

The game will then randomly load a livery everytime the vehicle is loaded.

Hope this has helped....
