LCPDFR 1.0c Taser won't work

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

for some strange reasons it seems like the taser is not working when I play LCPDFR. Whenever I hit T or Alt-T nothing happens.

I have already un- und reinstalled LCPDFR, automatically and manually, I have checked the files (/pc/lcpdfr), I have replaced the files in "/common/data" (I tried to replace them with the ones provided in the "how to make the taser work" guide and also added the lines needed manually) - still no success. So now I need your help - the taser seems to be an essential part of LCPDFR and I hope you guys can help me to finally get it to work :)

I even reinstalled GTA IV and LCPDFR and all the mods I have installed (none of which seem to conflict in any way with LCPDFR 1.0c) - still: The taser won't work.

I am somewhat happy to see that I'm not the only one having issues with the taser - hopefully some of you guys can help us out!

I have had the same issue, I fixed it by uninstalling my pistol texture. Not sure if this will work for everyone, but if you have a different model for your "Pistol" try a different one, or getting the default glock. Cheers

Hey man sorry for the problem.

So Alt+T is supposed to holster your Tazer. When pressed you'll see him do an arm action to his left side, after that, you're going to wanna hit T.

Be sure to have your weapon on the Fist, not your pistol. After you hit T, scroll your weapon wheel to where your pistol would be and it should be your Tazer.

Hope that helped and was that simple of a fix lol.

Thanks for your help - unfortunately that's exactly what I always do to bring up the taser, and if holstered it should show up on my officer (set "show taser holstered" to on). So it just doesn't want to work, I tried to do exactly what you wrote but still ... no success ... and I start to get tired of shooting people who resist arrest :D

Haha you can only shoot them in the leg enough times before they die. :)

Damn thats a mystery. Maybe try uninstalling LCPDFR and doing a manual install.
