NOOSE Cruiser in regular traffic

Hey guys,

Do you know what file I have to modify to make NOOSE Cruisers drive around like a "normal" police duty (Police Cruiser, Police Patrol)?

I've used the mod "Traffic Spawner" so far, but the script sometimes crashed, so there weren't any cars spawning anymore by this mod.

I was wondering if it's possible to use the vehicles.dat or .ide for this.

You could switch it with police or police 2 in the cargrp.dat's "POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS" line. I believe the first two cars are the ones that get spawned in traffic, and then the next two are probably spawned at three stars, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

you have to take out the noose in the popcycle cops and put it in where ever you want it to spawn and it will drive normal and respond to chases and then if you have traffic load then you put that car under enable car

You can use traffic spawner to do that and more.

I've tried to edit the cargrp.dat, it didn't help at all. Maybe I've done something wrong. However, I'm going to use the Traffic Spawner for the next time, I hope I'll find out some time. ^^

what traffic system do you use? traffic control, traffic load? you have to put the car on the list so it will spawn in traffic and it has to be enabled

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't it say in the readme that police cars that are added into the .ini will only spawn when I have a wanted level? I use traffic flow btw. and at the moment traffic spawner too.

Would be awesome if Traffic Spawner also had a Livery option for each vehicle

 

Have you given Sam's Area Livery Mod V2.0 a try. You can find it in the Downloads section of the site.
