Cop: "Let me see some ID"

Suspect: *Punch*

Seems like a pretty stupid reaction in my opinion. In the UK if the cop asks for ID it's usually after you are already in the back of their police car where the back doors have a child lock on them (prevents the door being opened from the inside) so people don't really tend to punch a cop when they are sat in the back seat with handcuffs on.

The most common things you see are "I don't have any" or "I left it at home". Or they give you fake details which is a waste of time cause they pull up details over the radio anyway and then match the known visuals (tattoos scars etc) to you.

To be more on topic though, some alternatives were already implemented. They either give you ID or they have an excuse for not having any. I don't really see how many more reactions could occur, perhaps be more specific and give more examples?

Honestly, i have never heard of someone punching a police officer because they asked for ID.

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me
