To be able to write parking tickets.

Featured Replies

Hello there, I think it would be a great idea to be able to write parking tickets, I think it would be a big improvement in the games realism. Feel free to express your ideas about it in this thread.

What about a tow truck add-on that come's with the script, for example- If a car is illegally parked, or an accident scene, go into your Police cruiser and call tow truck support.

i know their are good tow truck mod's out there, or the ability too run a car's plate while you drive like real officer's do, or getting dispatched too the scene of an accident( Shooting, car accident, DUI etc) that would add some realizm wouldn't it?

This would never be implemented.

Some people can only just run GTA IV on the bare minumum, installing a tow truck mod (which would most likely be high-poly) would cause the game to be unplayable.

If you want a successful mod the first rule is; Never make someone install something they don't want just to gain access to a extra feature..

By all means though, it could be added to the TLAD version as there is already a standard towtruck in the game

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

The tow truck idea was already brought up a while ago and was declined.. Instead of having the tow truck addon can the screen just fade out and the car be gone? That would be better and much quicker...

The towtruck mod in the video used a default truck. I've been considering making a parking ticket mod with towtrucks; if I did that, the towtruck model would be selectable in an ini file, and so you would be able to add the TLAD towtruck to IV or BOGT and use it. Unfortunately, I'm in school now, so don't have a ton of free time.

You can issue a citation. It's fine. Also, parking fines are boring.

@ Mage25 & Harper. Mage_ of course parking tickets are boring BUT that is what a Police officer does, you wanted realizm, that's what it is.

Harper- if there ppl that can't play GTAIV, the Tow- truck add-on would be an awesome feature and add too the realizm of the amazing mod you guy's made, that being said.

even an option on installation would be a win, win by option i mean, like the ability too disbale call-out's for example, you could have that option for a tow truck mod,

that way, people that CAN use the mod can, and other people that can't cuz there computer can't handle the mod can disable it on installation.

but it's just a suggestion :) would be cool too se it :)

I'm not playing LCPDFR for total realism - half fun, half realism. Citations are fine, however add these parking tickets if these people need to be pleased.

Let's get some of those NYPD parking enforcement three-wheeler scooters in game as well...

I doubt that many would actually use the function, as Mage25 said, I play LCPDFR on a half/half basis, half realism, half fun, there should be a lot fewer callouts, the shootings needed to be drastic reduced, the likeliness of a pursuit likewise.

I'm not saying that LCPDFR is turning into PPM, but there's a reason for why there's only cool and awesome shit in it, and not all the crap parts of policing.

@NicolaiB, you make a VERY good point about the last part that you said BUT, there are TON'S of people out there i would imagine that prefer realizm over just "fun",

i prefer a little of both, like being able too call support for a road block and ramming through it, but in my opinion a tow truck add-on would be a great accomplishment in the LCPDFR script, even it the add-on was optional in the download so people could choose for themselves whether they would like too use it or not,

just sayin' ;)
