(REQ) Very Basic CVPI

Featured Replies

Hey, everyone. This is a Vancouver CVPI, but I haven't been able to use a model that represents it correctly. I have a VPD skin and everything. I believe it's a Whelen Liberty, but if someone can identify it as otherwise, shoot. OR, if this vehicle model already exists, which it likely does, please link me to it ASAP!

I must add that those are indeed amber LED's on the back of the light bar.

ELS 8 would be most preferrable!

Thank-you in advance.

It's actually a Federal Signal Legend on VPD's CVPI's. Anyways, the pack c13 linked is the best one out there, and the only one that I know of. It's a really nice pack :)

I've always loved the Canadian cruisers for not being a christmas tree like some in the US.

Not trying de-rail the thread or anything but I couldn't agree more. I love the Canadian cruisers, they have enough lights. Not too many nor too few. Same goes for a lot of cruisers down in Florida. Not too much nor too few lights. Just love it.

Same goes for their sirens, love the Code3 Z3 siren, sounds like a mixture of North American and European sirens.

Btw, anyone interested in the video the photos are from, there you go :)

Their setup is almost EXACT to that of what the RCMP use, except I think the secondaries are on the lightbar itself, so I think Aznairsoftdudes RCMP CVPI may be the closest, as them other packs aren't exact.

aznairsoftdude has put together some of my favourite cvpi.

So Zelyth,  his RCMP version can be pretty good to use if you are willing to overlook some physical differences.

Basically the rear deck light and the flash pattern for it will also be bit off.

(**i'm pretty sure** you have to use the Dec 2012 release which had the ELS lights set up incorrectly for the RCMP but good for Vancouver.

His updated version in 2013 is good if you want to use it as intended for a RCMP vehicle in game. I believe the amber lighting was removed from the back of the lightbar.)

Tim98's pack is really well done. I personally don't like the DriverSF model.  I've been told it is more accurate in size

but it just doesn't work for me.  What is really amazing though is the setup he used for the rear lights/TA on the

Collision Investigation unit. It is great and i push aside my preferences and load up that vehicle once in a while.
