So, I'm trying to make a skin for LCPD:FR but in order to do so, I need a template. So I went to download BxBuggs templates off of GPM only to find out I CAN'T! When I hit download, it brings up a page that says something like "Slow down! You're trying to download to fast! You must wait 8 seconds to download something else." And it never goes away. I refresh, close browser, try again and it still happens. I really want to do this, so can anyone help me out and give me a way to download the templates off of GPM?

Ugh.. If it tells you to wait 8 seconds, wait 9 seconds and refresh the page and it should download. 

It doesnt...

I experience this issue with GPM's downloads also sometimes. I usually have to close my internet browser and then try again a few minutes later to get it to work.

 

Keep in mind that the download time limiter seems to be a cumulative thing, so you cannot have any other tabs open to downloads on their site either, because if you attempt to download ANYTHING from GPM it will restart their timer.

That's weird. I've tried closing and restarting, but I'll try again.

What I do when I get that is wait a couple minutes before trying again.

Still didn't work.

Then you wait even longer. 

Make sure you are logged in and just refresh, Had it happen like 2 minutes ago and it allowed me to download after i waited 4 seconds.

I found that if I double click...it says that. So try to just click it once ;)

I've done pretty much all of these. I went to the page, kept it there and went to sleep and in the morning it still said it.

If you want a CVPI or whatever car you want, that was made by buggs and download it from here, and the template should be included in the download.

Thank you, Crawford for the first post that actually helped me! xD For real though, thank you all for your help.

It's not rejecting you, GTA Police Mods has a system of where people download too fast, the website can't really handle it. You would maybe need to be patient, being too desperate will cause the website to say that to you. I would just hit the "previous site" button and try downloading it in a more calm way. I hope it helps, I know I dislike the "Slow Down" messages, they are rather disturbing but it's a website so really there's nothing else to do but wait.
