Featured Replies

Hello People,

I downloaded LCPDFR couple of days back. After this I got to know that I need GTA 4 Patch 1.07 to run it,so I downloaded it. But, after downloading and installing it, it doesn't run. I just see the command prompt then nothing!!

I have tried everything including re installing the game, .net framework, essentials.

Yes, I have a legal copy of the game

Please help, I really want to run LCPDFR!!

Thanks.

Hi,

To get started, can you post a screenshot of your entire GTA IV directory please. Also to be certain can you tell me which version of LCPDFR you downloaded.

Ok, so once you have finished reinstalling GTA IV, make a clean backup so that you don't have to go through the timely process of uninstalling/reinstalling again.

At this point, load up GTA IV and run around, blow something up, be sure GTA IV is working fine/

Then install LCPDFR 1.0b via the automatic installer.

When that is done run the diagnostics tool packaged with LCPDFR 1.0b and get it to check your installation to make sure everything is ok.

If it says everything is fine, run GTA IV again, press ALT + P to launch LCPDFR and enjoy.

You see, I have the retail package i.e. GTA 4 1.0.0 on which the LCPDFR doesn't run!!

Erm, yes it does :S

So long as you have applied the 1.0.7.0 update to it, LCPDFR should run fine.

Are you launching it as administrator?

Okay so I kind of found a solution,

I am trying to update the game from within i.e. when GFWL says inside the game that an update is available, but I have another problem, when the game loads, it kind of hangs after the GTA logo, and I have to end the game with the task manager.

Thoughts?

You are doing it wrong, obviously. Are you running the installer as administrator? Is it a legal copy of the game?

I dont even see a rockstar page to login
