Hi, whenever I play for like 5-10 minutes I always get this error unrecoverable error. The only mod I have installed is LCPDFR and policing script. How do I fix this? I did not install any mods/scripts

There are many people here who would like to assist you with fixing your error, but, in order to make it more clear, please edit your post and say what error code you are getting (Ex: SMPA60, RC20, RC10, etc.)

 

Here is a list of every error code for GTA IV and what they mean.

And simply pressing Ctrl + F on that page and typing in Unrecoverable Fault indicates there is 30 errors that have Unrecoverable Fault in them.

 

I apologize, if this post makes it seem like I'm being an a**, that was not my intent, but in the future please try your best to be more specific in support topics.

Um. Okay, so you have installed LCPDFR and policing script. But, you haven't installed them. Because you don't have any mods or scripts. I'm confused. 

 

And as stated above, please do post error codes, screenshot of your GTA IV directory. Do you have a legal copy of the game? Running as administrator? Have you read all the readmes?

I have the SMPA60 error. I ran the game as admin. And alot of people are saying that the SMPA60 error is causing because of the car mods. I have a legal copy of the game (steam) and I have read all of the readmes. I am sorry about the mod saying, I ment to say I have modded cars installed.
