This video tells me everything I need to know about them. They're morons who'll risk their, and everybodies else's lives on the road, for film.(and presumably money.)

The troopers reaction when the Corvette zoomed past was priceless.

They don't make any money from the circuits they're in. There are events like the Gumball 3000 all over the U.S. and Europe and generally speaking they just have a good time and nobody gets hurt. I've only seen guys trash their own cars. I don't agree with them speeding and all of that, but honestly my commute to work every day is worse than these videos. You could argue that the police car in that video you posted puts people in just as much danger by continuing the chase. If you have a super car pass you at 110mph and all you have him for is speeding, you should break the chase off, it's not worth it. Radio ahead and have another unit ready to intercept.

I don't get it?!?

What do people get from watching the full videos? I know it's "entertainment", but I didn't find anything funny or exciting in that short.

All I see is just a bunch of grown-ups with fast cars trying to get speeding tickets & act like they are above (or should I say faster than) the law.

EDIT: I did find the originally posted OP's video a bit entertaining.

It had a few funny elements & it was made from a challenge that was made.

Actually when they go through an area, they normally get the whole state on alert and you end up with 400 miles of police cars.

Slows the casually speeds down, and brings in some revenue to the jurisdictions they go through.

If you watch more of their videos, you'll see they try to avoid passing other vehicles with too much speed difference. They normally keep the fast driving to when they have a wide opening. They normally travel in the 80-90s. Honestly that is how fast the entire left lane is during morning rush hour around where I live.
