My ELS just stopped working?

Featured Replies

Hey everybody, this is my first post here and unfortunately, it's a somewhat bad one. Yesterday I was playing LCPD:FR and my game crashed, so I restarted it and when I did I noticed that I could no longer hit "J" to turn on my lights. Instead it's like my lights are frozen in one spot 24/7. I tried re-installing my ELS, LCPD:FR, everything. Please help so I can get back to playing!

If you haven't already - disable KeyBindings in your SNT by looking for KeyBindingsDisabled and set it to 1 to disable them.

Make sure you also have scripthook in your directory.

Haha thanks for the fast replies guys, yes I have using SNT so I'll try disabling keybindings. Ill let you know if it works.

First of all, I want to thank you guys so much, it worked. But now I have another issue. I was testing all the keys and I hit "Y" and now it looks like hazard lights or something. I hit "Y" again but they wont go off. Any clue?

I've had this happen before to me too. (that is if some lights are on permanently) I fixed it by going into the ELS configuration files, and just re typing the ELS file name. That solved it for me. If it doesn't, try re -mporting your car. I also use SNT, but I disabled key bindings long ago.

Haha thanks. Next question. Do you guys know any cool LAPD cars and uniforms? Haven't been able to find any good ones.

Sgt.Kanyo has got some of the best LAPD/CHP cars out there. His 03 Vics are some of my favorite Vics released. His CHP cars are good too. He's got some LAPD peds as well.

Spitfire7 has a good LASD car too.

Wow, those look incredible! Thanks for the link. I've been using gta4mods, but now a new website to look at :) Now to find some good uniforms and I'll be set. Incase you're wondering why I want them so bad, I wanna be in the LAPD.

Cool. I did a LAPD/LASD themed play thru in my gallery. I used all Sgt.Kanyo's stuff. He's got some LAPD peds that I still am using now, and a CHP ped as well.
