Maybe you should take a look in the 'pedvariations.txt' . Normally you can select there what you want.

Btw. Good Luck!

  • Okay, so here's my latest attempt:     Again, nowhere near perfect, and there are noticeable problems although I think it is much better than last time and in a state where I won't be too embarra

I have a great idea! Let them finish the cops first then we can ask for something else.

Absolutely.  I'm working on a nice polished version of the female LSPD cop adapted into an LCPD version.  I just finished converting over all the audio files for it from GTA V and manually renaming and identifying them all :).  Took about 5 hours.

Could you also convert GTA V LSPD Male cops, and other GTA V law enforcement so it would be a complete set as evans finished fixing his GTA V ped models?

I love this.

i like about the female officers to have the lcpd badges for their police uniforms, instead of lspd, but remove the microphone from their shoulders like their male counterparts, you can add for them a police jackets and rain coats, this will make a great look for them.

How do you get into the gta v files? it hasen't been released for pc

Really... Shouldn't answer but anyway.. common.rpf or ripping files from 360 & PS3 iso's or the disk it self. That's how the cars and ped's got ported from V to IV though known conversion processes.

Also Evan, Sam, & all others involved in the project thanks for the ped's!

thanks ford is it legal?

No, if you get caught you will have to pay a fine of $1,000,000 and face a 60 year prison sentence (sarcasm). But seriously, it's probably not, the files belong to R* and it is technically illegal until you get permission from R* to use them. It isn't a big deal compared a full map conversion, I doubt anyone would care. (I suck at law stuff so I am not even sure)

hey man, I saw that the helicopter pilots are in you "Dev" file but no idea what to do with them. Is the model playable yet? I really like the flightsuit....

You have to rig the pilot to a gtav character.

Sam, do you have some news?

I've done more work and they're almost finished.  All they need now is some vertex colouring and maybe some minor tweaks.

Today I added the long sleeve variant and a new head model for a black variant.  This means there's now 2 heads (white and black), 2 hair models, 2 upper body models, the original LSPD badge and nameplate and a lower body model.

Have a look at the new additions below:

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

It looks great so far! Would it be possible to convert the animations? I remember hearing that it's not possible, but just asking :)

What animations?

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

For the female cops. Are you using the male cop animations?

The male cop animations work okay with it.

"You tell me exactly what you want, and I will very carefully explain to you why it cannot be."

That is beautiful! Cannot wait for these. I know who'll be patrolling this weekend. Any idea what you'll do after this? Female sheriff, IAA or something completely new? :P

I like to say, I love female police officers, do you maintain them instead of replacing the police fat or fit.

also In GTA IV beta, and female officers are in the original can be seen but the cut, now i'am wondering about the new women's police, so I cannot wait for these.

Please, replace the decals on a female cop uniforms, badges and add LCPD, and remove the microphone, and I love this with lcpd, and jackets and rain coats.

Jackets and rain coats isn't going to happen.  At a push I might try to make an LCPD version but I don't know how much time I'll have to keep working on all of these peds.  At the moment they replace the fat cop, I'm well aware that there was an F_Y_COP at one point in GTA IV although as far as I can tell, replacing the fat cop is the only feasible way to use proper voices for them as it looks like we can only replace, and not add, voices.

Is 'speech.rpf' and 'speech.dat' editing that challenging? It would seem that is the only thing regarding GTA IV modding that has yet to have any progress made. All of my occasional efforts to mod those results in insta-crashes.

I would love to add not replace speech files. What the fat cops say is just too funny.

Cheers.
