Hello! I need someone to place the extras for ELS, i.e. extra_1 through extra_8 in the right positions for a completed model for me. Every time I attempt this I get errors, and nobody seems to have the fix for me. This model will not be for release, but it would be GREATLY appreciated, and I could even throw in a few bucks for the job.

Just got done remaking the model because zmodeler likes to crash from time-to-time :) So i'm leaving the hierarchy like this to be safe:

 

 

 

 

UPDATE: This is how I am mapping my extas and this is my exact error: "Duplicate instances of part "extra_1" found. file:GTAIVExport.cpp line:369"

It's absolutely no wonder to get that error with your hierarchy. Is there any reason to have so many parts called extra_1?

I've tried renaming the extras and their corresponding LOD's to seperate names and it still gives me the error. Can I just rename them to whatever or do I need to make it something specific? And to answer your question, there are just a lot of extra_1's on the equipment i'm using :P

 

ANOTHER UPDATE!: I think I fixed the extras, as it isn't giving me errors with those any longer. It is, however, giving me an LOD error. "Part multiple instances of LOD:0 of part "extra_1" found."

Attach all the extra_1_L0s together and do the same for all the extras and their _L0s, _L1s and _L2s. Any number above 9 will not function with ELS, it'll simply just become a steadyburn light. Attach all your equipment together too. Having multiple .wfts within a .wft can be really problematic. Check the tutorials section and watch Hlsavior's tutorial - it'll more that likely be of some help.

Thank you very much! XBR actually helped me out with the LOD problem, but still, same exact answer, so again, thank you. I know about connecting all the .wft's, I just got done putting all the parts together into that model when i ss'd my hierarchy.
