Fake GTA V Beta Download - MALWARE!

Featured Replies

As you may know there has been a fake GTA V Beta Download going around as spam to people's emails. Little do you know this "Beta" is Malware and may infect your PC if you download it.

DON'T DOWNLOAD THE SUPPOSEDLY "GTA V BETA TEST" IF YOU RECEIVE IT IN YOUR EMAIL!

rockstar has not yet announced a PC version of gta v and that email looks very very unofficial to me. Also, is that advertising Zoner Antivirus there? rockstar would never do that. internet is not absolutely safe nowdays, so everyone should ''approach with caution'' with emails like this.

Yeah but some retailers like Gamestop listed GTA V PC on their website but then removed it after controversy, some even made it available for preorder which gets me to thinking it may come out before Summer. But as you said we still need confirmation from Rockstar Games so I'm not really gonna get my hopes up lol.

There was a torrent that was floating around with 18 GB of malware and thousands fell for it, I saw it on Machinima and apparently someone created a legit looking setup.exe and after the install......well....you know the rest. I barley read my emails anyway

If you can't figure out this for yourself, I'd you can enjoy your malware.

And you would not be obliged to help them out (you can laugh in their face. "Help my computer is doing some weird stuff!", Random User 34. :teehee:

Cheers.

Like a month or two ago the same thing was flying around, I know it was not "official" but it was supposedly from a "professional" company that was doing it to be able to get information from other computers or whatever.

I wouldn't download it, mostly because my computer can't run it.
