View who gave reputation?

Featured Replies

Currently we have it set so that only members of the LCPDFR Community Team and Developers can view who gave reputation points on posts, however as we are very fortunate in that we have a small and friendly forum set-up, perhaps it would be a welcomed change if we were to allow all registered members to see who gave reputation for posts?

Hey Sam,

Even though as of this point the community is good, I feel that this may not be a good choice in terms of the forums. I'll explain later when I have time.

I think I have only given one bad rep point out since I been here. And that was to someone who put down someone elses work and said they could do a lot better. And indeed had created better, and would show this... Two months on and am still waiting to see the masterpiece. :whistling:

Anyway, Thumbs up. :)

Hey Sam,

The reason why I say that you shouldn't open it up for everyone (and I seem to be the only one who thinks so, which is okay) is because if a certain individual is "downed" on the reputation system, they could potentially harass that individual until "submission". I personally (due to past experience managing it) disagree with "anyone can rep" but it seems to be working in this community and I do not wish to speak ill of it, especially the community. From previous management experience of forums I feel that it is too risky to open it up for everyone, as that one bad apple may receive a down rep, and if the person truly deserves it.. well then there ya have it, they more then likely may harass..

You have my support.
