Bug fix

Featured Replies

Not sure if I'm in the right section for this, but when will the freval errors be fixed?

Currently lcpdfr is pretty much unuseable for me, because like 50% of the time when I get into chases, and the suspect gets out of the car, I crash with this error:

Also I can't even revert back to the old 0.95 lcpdfr, because we had to change some .dlls with 1 of the devs, to get 1.0 working.

[Main]
AdditionalCopCarModels=
SuspectTransporterModels=POLICE;POLICE2;PSTOCKADE;
VehicleTrunkWeapons=Shotgun_Baretta;
AllTextMode=False
AmbientScenariosMaximum=1
AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250
DepartmentName=Liberty City Police Department
DepartmentShortName=LCPD
FirstStart=False
UsingPoliceStationMod=False
PreloadAllModels=True

In main directory of lcpdfr config, add this PreloadAllModels=True, Worked for me. So it looks like whats shown above.

Like I mentioned in my post, I can't, because when I first started using lcpdfr 1.0 it didn't want to start. So one of the devs (I think it was break, but I'm not sure), helped me out, by remote controlling my computer. We edited some dlls, and now that we've done that, whenever I install back the old lcpdfr (0.95 rc2), the script crashes as soon as I load it.

I'll try this PreloadAllModels thing, thanks for the tip, I'll check back if it works.

If it was me, i would make a 1.0 folder on my desktop. Drag all of the 1.0 file from your directory to it, including the scripthooks, dsound, and advanced hooks. After doing so, re-installing 0.95 should work just fine. If you need any help PM me and i can get you on my TS so i can control your computer and i can do it.

It won't work, that's exactly what I did, the problem is we changed some dlls in the windows library, not the game folder. We found out that sth was outdated or running a bad version according to the dev, so that's why we changed it. After we changed it, 1.0 started to work, and I'm guessing that's when 0.95 stopped working.

Also bad news, preloadallmodels causes massive texture bug for me, so that doesn't work. That's in EFLC, while in GTA IV, I didn't realise but I did have that preloadallmodels thing, and it didn't help. I get those crashes there as well.

Oh that's out of my expertise. I would say about the only thing you can do now is see if one of the devs is willing to help you out, or even someone that knows what they're doing.
