Hey all!

Downloaded 0.95 RC1 yesterday and I've been encountering two problems since then.

1.Player,at times,become invisible and,

2.the most common one is,when you're prompted to choose the patrol vehicle,only two spawn and then it does nothing.The player cant do anything.Game doesn't stop running,but you just cant do anything...

Anyone?

I'm attaching the LCPDFR.log as I just installed the mod yesterday and have been experiencing these problems till then.

Both are already known,

Fixes:

First 1: Cannot fix, Just do not arrest near a building

Second: This has been known to fix this issue, however, This may cause stability issues, Its worth a try however, Go into your .ini folder, And youll see a sentence called: PreLoadAllmodels = False, Set False to True, So it should look like: PreLoadAllModles = True,

For the first one I've had it occur anywhere, not just near buildings. I arrested somebody on the Alonquin bridge, invisible. (Incidentally, does the SNT visible/invisible toggle fix it anyone? it didn't for me)

Nope, Didn't work for me, yet again, Ive only had it happen once to me.

Most of the time it happens when I go on duty and they prompt me to choose a player.I just can see the gun held by player and not the playa itself.WTF? One more strange thing.I can't change the controls.Here,take a look at this (at my firstresponse.ini file):

Controls can't be changed yet.

The original police computer shouldn't be accessible at all with LCPDFR running. If you want to use it, don't be on duty with LCPDFR.

The missing callouts have already been reported numerous times, developers are looking into it.

For the original computer, at least for me on duty here holding E gets to it, if I tap E I get to the LCPDFR one. I can reproduce it easily if needed, original Steam release of the game (bought on launch day >.>). Any way around that apart from tapping E?

I've had the same problem, but the original police computer isn't supposed to be accessed at all from a police car while on duty. It is supposed to be completely replaced, but sometimes it still tries to make an appearance. You really can't use it unless you are not on duty.

How are you not meant to use it? I'm not sure I get what you mean about not being able to use it, I know you can access it, but do you mean the default vigilante missions?

Wrong.Mine does manifests itself,at least for initial two times.I've assigned Tab key for it and it does make an appearance.

When your guy goes invisible try walking through a door into a building. This always fixes it for me.

im having problem too.. when play with patch 1.0.0.0 , i can't go on duty , or if i install patch 1.0.7.0 the game doesn't start. any quick solution ?

Im totally new to all this so how do I even play the game?
