pursuit issues

Hey all,

I'm loving LCPDFR, but have run in to a bit of a problem regarding pursuits. If I use Shift to try and stop someone and they take off on me, an error message displays and pursuit keys (F9,10,11,12) refuse to function. Using Alt+B or N won't summon backup either.

I've run the diagnostic tool and get told that I have no ASI loader installed, yet I do have dsound.dll in my GTA IV root folder.

EDIT - Totally forgot to mention that this is 0.95RC1 on Windows Vista Home Premium.

2nd EDIT - Got a chance to uninstall LCPDFR and tried installing 0.91. The above issues are gone but now I'm getting crashes after 45 mins to an hour of game time.

Just a quick addition, I can't seem to edit my original post. :confused:

I've replaced the police car mods with some new ones and the crash issues in 0.91 appear to be resolved (so far anyway).

Unfortunately, 0.95RC still experiences the same issues.

Are your police and police2 cars ELS enabled? If so, that would be why you are crashing after some amount of time. LCPDFR I don't think knows how to use ELS for backup units, so it almost always results in a crash. The only way to get around this is to not have ELS-enabled cars for police and police2.

Both the original and new replacements are ELS enabled. The crash issues haven't reappeared yet, but I'm getting the disappearing texture/environment bug now. >.<

I got the same problem here.

When a pursuit starts, my F10,F11,F12 keys won't work and also the speech keys on the numeric board won't work.

Does someone knows a solution?
