AI Cops Being Able to Finish Call

Featured Replies

Lately I've been spawning in the polmav (police helicopter) and am thrilled that the AI spotlight is now working for us players! One functionality I'd like to suggest is AI cops being able to clear a pursuit automatically when you're in a helicopter, so when the suspect finally stops he's arrested by the AI. What normally happens is the suspect stops, puts his hands up, but the AI is unable to arrest him for some reason leaving the pursuit active which is bugging me as I have to land and shoot/arrest the perp in order to continue.

Hmmm... I chased a sedan in Alderney with local police assistance a while ago. Driver bailed out and tried to outrun me, others got back in their car and took off. I followed and arrested the driver, then went to the location of other two guys only to see them being escorted to a patrol car. So they were cuffed when I was far away but taken in patrol car only in my presence...

I'm pretty sure the AI takes down suspects aswell. I've had suspects run off in different directions and usually the AI took off after them. I still like to check on them to be sure but I've seen them take suspects away.
