ENB Assistance

Featured Replies

So I found a new ENB, just love it,, except it isn't working.

First off, let me post my computer specs so all of you could be amazed by this ( That it aint working )

CPU : I7 4770K

Mobo : Asus Maximus VI Hero ( Had more money for those who tried to select me part, appreciate the previous advise )

GPU : 780 GTX 2GB
RAM : 12GB Corshair XMS3

So I downloaded the RAGE X ENB, installed it, started it up and :

'>

I don't get it how a computer of this scale can not run this with memory issues.

I've been trying :

Multiple different command lines

No command line

Playing it with a fresh restart

Anybody else still an idea what to do?

Maybe had this too, but you know a way around?

I would really love to use this ENB.

Regards,

Mascotte

Fiddle around with the texture settings a bit (high, medium, low). GTA has it's weird moments when it comes to ENB's.

Already tried that, even with everything on freaking low it doesnt work because of out of memory, but other ENB's i can run easily with 60 - 70 FPS, G4V for example, but those aren't my taste

I can run ENB's easily, even with recording, did it before and it is only this one ( and yeah i`m really focused on this one regarding the editing since i can get it exactly my taste ) but this one is just being a little kid and doesn't want to work

So tried it another way : EFLC.

ENB Works there ( Ofcourse the edition made for EFLC ) No problems with playing what so ever, even on all high, no out of vid memory error
Reinstalled GTA IV regular again : Installed ENB : Crash Out of video memory.

Anybody has an idea what the hell is going on here?

They have multiple versions of the enb :

GTA IV 1.0.7.0 <---- Doesnt work on Regular.

ELFC 1.0.2.0 <--- Works on EFLC

Try copying the shaders from EFLC over to IV...

So install the 1.0.7.0 ENB in my GTA IV, then copy over the shaders from the EFLC ENB into 1.0.7.0?

Try using another ENB. I experienced the same issue and have a more than capable system too, some ENBs just don't like certain systems.

Problem is, I only like that one, since i can't make enb's i cant replicate it. There is none out there that is similar :/

Exactly...just copy the EFLC shaders over to GTA IV...Make sure though that you delete the original shaders from GTA IV first...

Appreciate it ! After I copied them it didn't worked yet, had to tweak some settings and now it does :D
