None of those vehicles actually have access to the game's standard police computer so there is no control to be overridden for them. In other words if the car isn't hard coded by GTA IV to have a police computer the dev's can't set it to use the LCPDFR computer.

Like ineseri says correct us if were wrong, but I'm pretty certain that is how the police computer works.

And just an FYI ineseri, some of the police vehicles don't have a physical model of a police computer inside them, but still provide access to the coded one :)

I'm by no means an expert, but didn't LCPDFR 1.0 come with some coding in the .ini file to tell it's police computer to become available on the police 3, police 4, and police b vehicle slots? (So you can now have a functioning police bike in GTA IV without needing EFLC) ?

I swore I read something about that, and I just looked through my .ini file and it's not there...but I think something was mentioned in the release notes.

I don't ever remember that Hero, could you perhaps locate the source where you might have read this to double check for us please?

I've gone through both the .ini file and the user documentation and didn't see any feature like that sadly.

Let us know if you find anything :)

Yeah, I'm still running searches now. Perhaps I was just dreaming up awesome stuff, but I thought it was included. I apologize if I'm wrong but I haven't finished searching yet. I'll post back ASAP when and if I find anything.

EDIT: I think I found the answer here in this topic...post # 28 on the second page:

from that post:

  • with LCPD:FR 1.0 computer works adding the right AdditionalCopCarModels value in lcpdfr.ini, depending on the car

Good find Hero, good find. :)

Thanks! I just hope it helps. Btw, I don't know if I said so, but I really appreciated the help you gave me in my support request.
