SA Crashing. Need help.

Featured Replies

Well, installed SA for the first time in a long period (around a year) and now it crashes after three minutes. It's a clean install, no mods. No errors, just minimizing and cannot be accessed without restarting the game. I need hep. EDITS: Well, as there not exist any SA support forum here, i placed it here. And also, i am on the mission "Big Smoke" and it might be a corrupt save? I have no idea. I need help quick.

mmmmm If you have Windows 7 or 8! sometimes that happen. i know for Windows Vista if you go in Firewall/programs and click on DDP setting and Hit Enable adding the GTASA.exe File and any other EXE file in the Folder of GTA sa. Bam it would run smooth you would also need to run it as windows xp Service pack 2.....!!! That should fix the Crash or Not able to start issue if you have any...

You said it minimizes by itself? That's a normal thing in GTA-SA crash's, but at what point does it occur?

It's not a "clean install" if this is happening, GTA SA doesn't do that unless something is missing/modified.

Well, it was a clean install, but now when i uninstalled it and reinstall it says that gtasa.exe is not a valid win32 program. Any help?

- Victor

1. Right click the gta_sa.exe file.

2. Go to "Properties".

3. Go to the "Compatibility" tab.

4. Check the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"

5. Choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)"

6. Check the box that says "Run this program as an administrator"

7. Click the "Apply" button.

If you still see the error, please screenshot it and attach it to your next post.

Please also include the version of GTA SA you are running (V1.1, V1.0 ,V2.0 (STEAM); US/UK, RU).

Have everything in the compatibility box checked, and running as admin, and runs on Win XP SP3. I have no idea, but it's the AO version. Bought in Sweden. Sorry for it being swedish in the screens.lvi5.png  h4rl.png
