Very very early crash (LOGS included)

Featured Replies

I have been working on this since last night to get this as "resolved" as possible. *Note as requested I have included all the logs I could find in the root GTA folder*. I have like others downloaded the 1.0.0.0 version from Steam, I have followed the instructions and upgraded to 1.0.7.0, but to no avail. I have absolutely no mods (I have been paying .95 for over a year and I am very familiar with adding and deleting mods to LCPDFR (which I love to play)), however, I am running into a crash very early in the game. I have only been able to get around the corner on my "best" run, just down the road a bit on a regular basis, and not even picking a car on my worse. I seem to have issues when either joining a pursuit, or even activating my lights (no ELS mod). If anyone can check over my logs and let me know if there is anything I can do or if its a common issue so I know to wait for a fix patch that would be great, I'm all about trying to self help before seeking help and I have followed the instructions on the screen before the forum post. If there is no fix I myself can do then I will be playing .95 RC2 until there is information otherwise. Appreciate the help in advance.

This is pretty odd.  The only thing I can see is that LCPDFR is trying to use a TBOGT only native function ("SET_CHAR_WILL_TRY_TO_LEAVE_WATER").  Nonetheless, this shouldn't crash you.

I think the best suggestion I can give you is to reboot your system, then run the game again a few times and see if you can pinpoint exactly when the crashes happen.

Sam, after restarting my computer I crashed again, it was specifically after I engaged my lights (pressing "G") it crashed a few second later after I turned them on for a second time, below are the logs for this event.

Yeah, sorry, but we can't help you with that. You need to contact R* (although they won't give a fuck).

Ok, looked up the issue and fixed it, it was my saved game when I had moded cars for .95. It crashed again but with no message at all and the logs are below, wanted to pick your brain about what the issue might be. This time i was chasing a suspect, he tried to steal a car to get away and i pulled my gun put it on him and pressed "E". Two AI cops ran up behind me and it froze and crashed back to desktop.

Well, at least we're making progress I suppose.  Keep trying the mod and see if you can get anywhere.  We've saved your crash logs in the mean time.
