HDMI problem GTA IV

Featured Replies

Hi forum members,

First of all thanks for the tutorials how to install the mod, it helped alot. When I start GTA IV everything is working perfectly, but after like 10/20 minutes my monitor gets black and I see an error:

HDMI

Power saving mode

I tried an DVI cable, but got the exact same thing. What to do?

Try to go into Power Options in your control panel - and set the Preferred Plan to - High Performance.

Then press Change Plan Settins on the right hand side, and set Turn Off The Display to Disabled/0

Sounds like your pc is in deep powersave mode..

Do you have multiple monitors?

You can also go into the control panel and select an option that starts only required programs to run windows. It cuts down on the computing power, there for saving power.
