I replaced the pbus file with a firetruck laddertruck. When played ingame, the ELS and siren do not work.
However I replaced the towtruck with a firetruck tanker and it worked.

Whats with Knowledge Base only for Staff members?

Maybe pbus slot can't support lights and sirens...?

did you edit the ELS.ini file to enable ELS on this model ? here is an example:

The 'pbus' slot will not work full stop, you are free to check the ELS V7.0 user guide. I do hope that vehicle slot will work with ELS V7.1.

Your idea hit me in the face.   I had been meaning to replace a poor quality mod that was in nstockade. However my hopes were dashed again.   All stockades use the same handling line...

I placed the firetuk ides in police4. Now the laddertruck won't spawn and it freezes SNT.

I wanted the engine sounds and other stuff of the firetruck not the stuff of a sedan.

nostockade is already used. I have the yankee els ambo in its place, they have very similar handlings, so there is only a little tilt from side to side.

You can make different handling lines that work independent of the Stockade handling Lines.  Just edit lines in the Vehicle.Ide from STOCK to NSTOCK and PSTOCK. {The 4th value from Left to right} This tells the game to to look for a reference of each individual vehicle and not recycle the Stockade handling line.

After you add the above lines, you may edit pstockade and nstockade just as you would modify police1, police2, etc.

im experiencing similar issues. when i use the ladder truck in the pstockade slot my firefighters (recruited firefighter peds from the station using the trainer) run to the back as if trying to get into the actual stockade model even though i replaced the handling with a ladder truck handling line.
