The model in that last picture is the R/T model which always looks sleeker and goes faster. Police agencies use a variant of the vanilla Charger. I think they look better than the Ford Interceptors (though not by much), but they certainly don't perform any better. Not wowed. Up the V8's horsepower, decrease the 0-60 acceleration time by one second or more, and improve its handling and then we'll talk. Dodge can squeeze more performance out of the Chargers engine than they currently have. They're just not trying.

Ew.

I hope those aren't real.

Yea, I would think and hope Dodge would make a Better Body style than those.

Not sure how those Chargers would look like with a Bar light and Ram Bar.

Sergeanto!

@Michael V: as far as I can tell, they aren't.

I hope their are going to be waayy Better looking, As I said on Post above.

Sergeanto!

That is the Design that the 2011-2014 Body Style is.

Now The older Body Style they made for 4 Years,

2006-2010, Now that makes me Believe they are going

to keep changing the Body Style every 4 Years,

Vehicle Makers usually change their Body Styles 4-6 Years.

Never liked the Charger.

The design is going to be pretty similar I guess as to the 2012-2013 model.

Go up to Law Enforcement Personnel and ask them about the Vehicles

in their Agency. Which Handles Better for what, Power, Comfort, Power,

etc,

It's not even 2015 yet...

No, but as cp702 stated below I am ready to see what Dodge is going

to do with the Charger. Cause 2013 should be the last year with

the Current body style (2011-2014).

Sergeanto!

These are cars. The 2015 model is released mid-2014. So, not unreasonable to unveil it now.

Time does Fly by and Quick so mid-2014 will get here Quick.

You have to Remember Dodge Vehicles are Heavy! The Charger beats all Law Vehicles

to 0-100 but not by Far! The Taurus is a Tad bit faster to 0-60. BUT Not much of a Difference.

Me, I am not a Hater of any of the Law Vehicles out their. I am still in Love with the Dodge Chargers,

SUV's thou I Like the Interceptor SUV's.

Every one has their Likes and Dis-Likes. Me thou I am in Love with the Chargers.

But, I also like the Caprices, Taurus etc. Tahoes thou, I prefer Yukon. Too Many

Americans like Chevy so I go GMC. N' they do have some Differences, Luxury.

Thank You All! Foryour time on this Post and When I find a For sure 2015 Charger

I will make a Post on the New Body style and Power MPG etc.

I love the Charger, and so does some, but some don't.

I don't hate the Charger, I just don't like them. IMO the CVPI is the best law law enforcement vehicle ever

I don't hate any emergency vehicles, the only exception would be all christmas tree's out there. I just personally don't like the Charger, 2010 model was okay (IMO) but the 2013 just looks too sporty for me.

Again, these are just my opinions

That's why they need more horsepower. The Charger's horsepower to weight ratio is too low making the 0-60 time yawn inducing. In my opinion, police sedans should have some weight to them so pit maneuvers on larger vehicles will still work, but that doesn't mean 0-60 in 6 seconds is excusable for a car that's supposed to be fitted with a police exclusive package. I drive a heavy SUV with a V6 and MY 0-60 time is 6 seconds. That's pathetic. If I had to pick any currently in production vehicle to replace the CVPI, it would be the charger. But I'm not impressed with any of the current vehicles. They're all ugly and slow. 0-100 doesn't matter on anything but a highway or an extremely long straight away. In neighborhood and city chases, or up against a motorcycle, 0-60 time and agile handling is crucial, and none of the current crop of standard police cars provide that.

The CVPI and Charger are almost completely identical barring the actual styling of the car. Both have a limited top speed of 135-150 depending on the state, both are 0-60 in 6 seconds, both weigh a lot and are powered by a V8 engine, both cost around $30,000 to $40,000 for a well equipped patrol car. I think the CVPI looks better, but most car manufacturers and police agencies care about that, apparently.

the only thing I don't like about the newer chargers is the rear lights they are hideous they look like the lights off a sports car but the head lights are bad ass it gives it personality

sig.jpg

The rear lights are intended to copy the style of the original Charger, which looked great, but that's because it went along well with the original body type. Ford is doing the same thing but at least they're actually changing the shape of the car with it. Slimory, if you wanna see plastic, buy a Corvette ZR1. lol It's a hell of a car though, it's just not meant to take bumps.
