I never understood the charm of this programme. Just a bunch of swearing. I guess some people like it, I don't. He's a good chef, but his shows aren't really my taste so to speak. Pun slightly intended.

Oh dear, that episode started out being quite amusing in the "I'm watching the house burn down" kind of way, but she honestly has some mental issues and her husband keeps enabling her self-destructive behaviour.

What you read was likely either a YouTube comment or something from a rag. He has re-visit episodes at the end of each season where he comes back after 6 months to 1 year after he changed things around to see how they're doing. Only a few of them have closed, usually for the owners own reasons. One in Detroit was going under because of the recession, the actual city of Detroit filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy, another Greek restaurant was sold off almost immediately after its make-over despite the money it was making at the owners decision, and one in the UK version of the show was also closed down due to the owner not wanting to be a responsible owner.
