Just a topic to see what your opinions are on Nelson Mandela, since he just died.

 

RIP Nelson Mandela

When celebs die I don't really care. But when people who have made a difference, a difference that matters, pass away it's hard not to care. I just found out about it, and it's a sad day. 

 

He was a great man and he did bring about great change in South Africa. I wouldn't say I'm sad that he died. I was never really impacted directly by him, and it wasn't really a shock that he was going to die soon. He was 95 and was in the hospital for quite a while this past year; so I'm not all too sad. That being said, I do greatly respect him and wish his family the best.

He's one for the history books. Hopefully he lives on forever in knowledge. 

R.I.P. Nelson Mandela. Man I would have loved to have him for USA President

Sad to see another of the greatest figures gone. Now the important thing is that this and future generations don't forget those rights and principles Mandela fought for.

Rest in Peace.

He was an very good man, he worked very very hard so hard that he was in jail for 27 years, and in 1994 (age of 80) he was the prime-minister. he works for the right reason and made the world an better place.
