Hey guys,

Since I've been here, I've noticed an increasing number of support threads that lack the proper format.

The posters are usually told to go look at the sticky.

But then a small amount of them fall out of the pack and need even further help like on running the diagnostics tool.

So, I've compiled a small video tutorial ranging from updating GTA IV to running the Diag tool and locating working scripthooks.

Video is half the size due to an error with FRAPS, should be fixed in any future videos.

Thats because the public beta of 0.95 hasn't been updated since it was leaked, and it'll continue to be that way until the final product.

The testing version of 0.95 is a huge improvement, bug wise.

The only reason I haven't accepted my partnership offer is because it says you can't use copyrighted stuff, like game footage.

You could potentially contest that because it's your experience playing the game that you're filming. But I wouldn't. lol I don't have the legal or financial backing to fight Rockstar in court in case they decide to cause trouble for me.

Seriously I'm at a loss as to why you think you sound odd, unless the voice over has been changed.

Hello Staff of LCPD-FR,

I just recently saw the teaser of the new Beta testing LCPD: FR and I am very interesting in trying it out.

Now, when i saw this video tutorial, i noticed that its not the actual game of GTA IV, its a patch to the new update (which i saw the requirements of installing LCPD: FR) which includes the fact that this support team does not help with crack GTA IV.

Now heres my first question: Which website do I actually get the GTA IV that is not crack? or do I have to buy the game to include the mod?

And people wonder why developers don't release everything on PC. We will be lucky to see GTA V on PC. Allready p!$$wd about red ded.

This may be an alien and outdated concept but BUY IT !

Paint it anyway you want. It;s theft and it stops me from playing Red dead redemtion on pc which is by far the biggest issue here.

Agree, and its okay. I am just new at this. Once I buy this game for PC, i can use the patch and patch it in the folder, correct?

OK sorry if I jumped to conclusions.

Steam do a decent deal on GTA packages at the moment, and they come patched up to date. Or you can prob' get just as good deals online if you want a solid copy. As for patching I am the last person to advise tbh as I use steam so have never had to patch my game.

But I imagine it's as easy as runnig any self installer.

Hmm...For steam, how do you patch your LCPD: FR?

Seems like getting a hard copy of the GTA IV is easier and patch easier?
