[Video Tutorial] Installing LCPDFR and Dealing With Any Errors

Well a hard copy is always nice. I am just too lazy to hit the center of town shops. Also not watched the vid in this thread since it was first posted but that prob' takes you through the patching process. I may be wrong though. But anyway, you get game, download latest patch and run a self installer.

If you can install a game you will be able to work out how to patch. If not there are people here to help. But cross that bridge when you come to it.

All you need is the game GTAIV, an internet connection, and a PC able to run GTAIV. If you have those 3 things LCPDFR is a few clicks away.

But before you buy make sure your PC can handle GTA IV as it takes a fair bit of resources to run.

Okay, I go get it first and see what happens. So once i get LCPD: FR, i have two games i can do which is Niko's stuff and LCFD: FR correct?

Really sorry if i am asking too much question 0____0".

Once GTAIV is installed you can copy your GTA IV folder to another location and mod that folder to LCPDFR and then yes, you will indeed have a working copy of the GTAIV game with the Niko story line and a working copy of LCPDFR totally seperate from each other. Just never save a game while playing LCPDFR, there is no need to anyway as your progress / stats are saved on this server but saving while playing LCPDFR can corrupt your save game files for the main story. Like I said though there is no reason to save while playing LCPDFR anyway :)

Hi everyone.

I tried to do a search for this and didn't see anything with this problem.

when I'm playing GTA 4 with LCPDER it runs right then it goes into a real slow mode for about 2 mins then goes back to regular speed.

Ive tried lowering grapichs and to use the patch but when I try to open the patch it just shows "it stopped working".

Any help would be apriciated

Why does the game crash once I enter the police station? I disabled IcEnhancer and trainer before entering. Or is this just simply incompatible with these mods? And do I have to enter police station in order to play this?

Guys, if this is a support question, please start a Topic in the Support section. If your having bugs with your mods, such as lights or car mods, please post it in the Content Modifications section. It is easier to help you there then here since all of your question is buried down in the 2nd page.
