I think the way the AI traffic behaves is really realistic and has been improved since GTA IV. For instance when they hear a siren coming they manage to clear the way without damaging their vehicle and they wont crash into you for waiting for a green light.

 

Only thing that really bothers are the traffic lights, I think they are red for way too long like in this video

 

 

What's your opinion about the traffic in general?

Usually when I put my siren on the crash into me, that's only sometimes though

Some traffic lights tend to be long in some busy places as L.A, It's weird, but yeah the AI have improved alot! other than sometime they will crash into me when i turn my sirens on.

Yeah, they rarely crash into something but in GTA IV they crashed into everything

They're God damned annoying. If they get spooked due to gunfire or something, they just keep purposely slamming into you. Even more so than in IV. They still rear end you online in V too by the way.

I think the traffic in V is much better than IV. They don't overtake you and you get more variety such as drivers driving at different speeds, overtaking on the motorway and reckless drivers. In IV every car was monotonous. 

I'm with Olanov here. It may be a little better, but not much.

Well, people of LS should have learned something about yielding to siren for 60 years :)

 

I dislike only when oncoming traffic sometimes make a move to your direction when using siren. But IMO it was awful in IV when drivers left their cars after firing shots near them. Why would anyone try to escape the dangerous place on foot, if you have a car and he fires not at you?.. In V I saw them getting away as fast as possible, and I like that.
