Vehicle Textures

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I recently made a texture for my Clan's Unmarked FBI Tahoe, based on the template.

However, when I get into game, any text on it appears blurry, and almost unreadable.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Here's some screenshots

First 4 are of the texture in-game.

Last one is how it looked in OpenIV

It could be what your texture settings are on in-game. What is it set on?

I will check this next time I'm in game.

Mip-Maps. Your problem is the mip-map setting for the texture in the .wtd.

In OpenIV open the fbi.wtd > find the texture/skin slot. Double click on it, and it should come up with a dialog box.

Change the value from the drop down menu in the dialog box to mip-map : 1 (I assume it is on 6/7)

That should fix your problem.

I changed it to Mip Map 1, and it worked perfectly, the texture is clear as crystal!

Thank!
