what does this mean

 

According to the about document, nothing is installed...Is the game a LEGAL copy? If it is not a legally purchased copy, no help will be given.

yes i baught it from steam two times

According to the document, it says that there is nothing found. Where do you have LCPDFR installed to? Since it is Steam, it should be: C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Grand Theft Auto IV/GTAIV

everytime i install it i have to manually pick the folder its not doing it by itself like it use too but its showing up in the directory

What folder are you choosing when you manually install LCPDFR?

Everything should be where it should be. Do you have either dsound.dll or xliveless.dll installed in the root folder?

wheres the root folder? he directory? theres dsoud but no xliveless

Reinstall LCPDFR with administrative rights and only launch GTA IV from "LaunchGTAIV.exe". Also, you can try to disabe UAC:

1. Open the start menu.

2. Type “UAC” (without quotes)

3. Pull the “slider” all the way down and accept the changes. A reboot may be required in some rare cases.

If you are using the installer you should be picking your GTAIV folder (It should make a scripts folder on its own). ELS goes in root folder, LCPDFR should end up in GTAIV>scripts.

 

Make sure you have the latest .net scripthook as well.
