Bomb Disposal Robot model?

Featured Replies

Hello, I was wondering if there is an existing bomb disposal robot for GTA IV. If not, is anyone up to the task to create one? It would be awesome for roleplay purposes, and you could just make your player invisible, enter the 'vehicle', and operate it.

Thanks! I am in a clan and we had a scenario today that could have used this. It would be really awesome to see something like this in game.

Yeah this is plausible with scripting! Nice idea!

The game doesn't really support treads and I'm not sure if you could make the arm movable. I'd imagine you could use the APC slot from EFLC and rig the arm so it moves as if it is a turret, but I can't think of any other way to control it.

I wouldn't really care for the arm/treads to move if that is a problem, I would just want a model of it with wheels possibly. Again, this request was for roleplay purposes, so a moving arm isn't really necessary, although that would be awesome to see as well. It would add a bit of realism to it.

why? liberty city isn't Iraq and there isn't really and bomb call outs so this would be pointless

It would still be neat, and it would be fun to get called out to places and disarm bombs with the robot (I don't know how the script would will even be one)

Amazing idea! This would be epic to have in IV!

Glad to see so many people's positive feedback on this idea! Hopefully someone will come along and make this one day.

agreed...I would rather have a swat raid or a search warrant instead of a robot...ill stick with my squad cars its just not something cops do on a daily basis...maybe once in a blue moon
