Can't Message Author For Permission - What To Do?

Featured Replies

If you read CJ24's profile, it says:

No permission is required for using, editing or uploading any of my mods. All I expect are correct credits.

Did you edit cj24's original textures? Or did you start new ones from scratch?

Edited.

If you read CJ24's profile, it says:

Ok thanks.

Are you wanting to upload the models with the textures on them and release them? If so just release the textures and put the link to the model when you release it.

Well just the textures, but like cp702 I can release the models to so the textures would be already installed, and I can just credit him. But I noticed that not everything is made by him on his mod, so do I just copy and paste his credits? I'm really not sure. Here is waht it says about his mods.

So do I just copy thoese credits?

It's preferred to just release the textures as PNGs. Releasing them on the models is actually *less* convenient, because it makes it harder to install them on any *other* CVPI with the same template.

Ok, I will do that for the Tahoe, Charger and CVPI. So what do I need to put as credits for releasing textures? Never released something so wouldn't want to be copywriting or whatever. :3

Expanding on earlier, models are no longer allowed to be uploaded unless you edited the actual model.

For what you need, put your own username (something like "me" isn't acceptable) in the credits, and especially put Cj24's name in the credits because he created the original textures.

It would look something like this:

Cj24- original textures

GummyBearqc- Texture edits

Sticks and stones may break bones, but 5.56 fragments on impact.
