Yeah, I know it's been in service for a while now, but it's beginning to take over and become the "main-stream" car over the VolvoV70. 

 

It's a new Volkswagen Passat. At first, I didn't like it. Thought the Volvo was much more badass looking, but it's starting to grow on me. Thoughts?

I've actually seen one of these in pursuit and I must say it was holding up pretty great. I must admit, it looks kind of good. Volvo is still the favorite.

What's the Passat - Volvo ratio in Nyköping? Here in Göteborg I am seeing more and more Passat, and less Volvos everyday. 

I'm not big on European police vehicles, however that thing looks really cool! 

 

Not as cool as this though:

Oh come on... Nice car! Why don't we have those? The only highway patrol vehicles we have are unmarked SAABs and Volvos. And of course, regular marked cars. No special liveries or anything.

Not all our Highway Patrol vehicles look like that. It's a one of a kind vehicle that's only in New South Wales. It was funded by the NSW Motor Accidents Authority for the NSW Police Force's 150th anniversary. You can read up about it here, pretty sweet if you ask me.

However, the Police RSPEC is mainly intended as a public liaison and awareness tool to be used at motorsport events across the state.

Love this vehicle mate.  Had a chase that almost ended up crossing the boarder not too long back, the called us up to assist in case it turned into a shit storm and the chap crossed.  We waited and next minute we see similar GTs vehicle flying down the high way. Hhaha lets just say our 4x4 transport vehicles were less than no match for those beasts.  

 

I know though that QLD does have similar HWP vehicles.

 

If only we had those vehicles...... but i guess we wouldnt use them much due to the nature of our unit's work

You always do have the best stories! Your vehicles aren't really meant for high-speed car chases. You should just face them head-on and ram them off the road.

Yeah... Maybe we'll scratch that idea for now, you may need to purchase a tank in the near future. Or maybe not. Also, true that. It's interesting to see how much a car can take!

I should move there lol. The only place in Göteborg you can see the Volvos these days are the suburbs, the Passats are kept in the town, less likely to get crashed there.

Nyköping is kind of a nice place actually.

Sweden got some badass cop car's (volvo's saab's VW's and BMW's) but we needs some CV's or tauruses. They're awsome. And some new liveries. Our Yellow/blue is not as cool as some Blue/black/white liveries. And a new police bus. The one the Swedish PD uses looks like a police transporter(GTA V) but in our ugly liveries.
