In this review at 4:20 you can see Micheal and Trevor wearing uniforms of the California Highway Patrol.

 

I haven't seen the video but it will probably be possible with a trainer

so im not the only one that noticed this hopefully we can get other uniforms as well...reminds me of vice city

I hope for a black LSPD uniform for Franklin. But if these two uniforms are available after that mission I'll be more than satisfied.

 

For now I just hope that my copy arrives tomorrow :D

My Intro contains the scence where Michael and Trevor wear the uniform. 

the highway patrol uniforms for Michael & Trevor are wearable outside! Trevor's helmet can be removed but so far michaels appears to be stuck on him :( no Black LSPD uniform for Franklin sadly

Let Michael enter a car, switch to another character and switch back to micheal. Exit the car and he should have taken the helmet off.

finish the mission and the game if I remember right

After you complete the game, you get most of the outfits that you wear during the heists.

 

The only exception I've noticed is the...(this could be considered a spoiler)

fire fighter outfit.

Got around to that mission. It felt great to be chasing cars down the highway as a cop, even under false pretenses.

 

It was also great how Trevor kept it together better when dealing with the guys than Michael did.

I bet you'd enjoy the two Civil Border Patrol missions from Strangers and Freaks, you also get to chase down "suspects".

 

I also think Trevor would have been a great police officer (kind of...) the way he talks sometimes
