Hey Guys, I play Grand Theft Auto IV with Patch 1.0.4.0. and I can't get scripts to work, my game just crashes during startup.

Can anyone explain how I can get scripts to work? Like carflow etc...

I don't wanna upgrade to 1.0.7.0.... Because..

• FPS drops to 15-20.
  
• Major object / texture popin.
  

You can't get scripts to work that aren't supposed to with 1.0.4.0 - Upgrade or forget it.

Gonna try with Patch 1.0.6.0....Upgrading to patch 1.0.7.0 will make my game unplayable so I will forget it if it doesnt work with patch 6.

Not everyone has super awesome gaming rigs..............

GTA IV Runs fine just not the new patch due to bad coding that "weaker" computers have trouble with.

We only officially support 1.0.7.0.

Desktop PC =/= "super awesome gaming rig"

I don't have a High End Gaming PC either, and still I manage to get my 20-40 FPS.

Not playing GTA IV on a laptop should be the first step to achieving a better frame rate.

Asking for tips for a game not fully patched, as you have found, does not end well. Scripts are either designed for a patch, or they aren't. LCPDFR in particular is not designed for anything besides 1.0.7.0. Other scripts? Well that's a free for all.

Just want to say that LCPDFR works with patch 1.0.6.0 Perfectly. So now I can play with no popins etc

i also play on 1.0.4 because the enb mods work the best with that edition.
