Gameplay is the same, story is different. I enjoyed both the same. If you can, get both.

If you can only get one, I recommend the original GTA IV.

EFLC has different weapons and cars, that's about it. I have both. lol

If you care about the story line, go with gta iv. If you don't care as much and just want explosive effects, et cetera, go with EFLC.

I tried downloading this mod and now it's not working. I downloaded it before the game and it worked then. I now have it and it's not working.

Please specify when you say "I now have it and it's not working."

Every time I try to download it says: "AppData\Local\Temp8g2f51 et.tmp\InstallLCPFDR.exe is not a valid Win32 Application". How do I fix this!?

Firstly, why the F is it being saved to your AppData folder?

Try changing the download location first.

I assume that right clicking and selecting run as admin doesn't help?

How would I change it? It goes there on it's own when I download it.

Also now GTA isn't working right, it keeps shutting down or not responding and forces a shut down.

You can change your downloads folder in your web browser. Set it to desktop or downloads.

If you have GTA on Steam try to revalidate your files.

I said F it and uninstalled and then re-installed.

Ah, I think I found the problem! I have a Norton Anti-Virus and firewall and that kept blocking the download.

Never mind, I still can't play GTA IV... Keeps crashing in the middle of loading. How would I stop that from happening?

Thanks! But where can I find the GTA ROOT folder? I have a Rockstar games folder, then GTA IV folder that's empty and then there's only music folder and nothing else.

The "root" folder is the main folder for GTA.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV if you have steam.

it would look like this if you had it through the disk (I assume)

C:\Program Files (x86)rockstar games\grand theft auto iv\GTAIV.

It's the folder with all of the data. It will have the folders "common" and "pc" in it.
