Strange RESC10 error problem

Featured Replies

Well i start the game and have to click on Auto configure to play GTA IV, becasue every time i lower my settings to minimum to have more fps and i turn off game and want to start it again with low settings it will crash me to windows with RESC10 error "Out of video memory- reboot your system". It's strange that i dont have video memory on low settings but on higher i have. My Gcard sucks but i could play GTA IV for along time without this problem. Any solution?

I have own commandline that was working fine for long time, i updated everything i could, i quess i will try to reinstall game becasue as i found now it can be caused by ENB.

Try running it as an administrator, but not with Windows XP compatibility. Sometimes certain games can have issues when running in Compatibility Mode. Just a suggestion.

I know you said you've fixed this but I'll post my fix for it just in case. I ran into this problem a while ago too, it just randomly started and I tried everything to try and fix it and it kept doing it. I finally figured out if you turn up the "Texture Resolution" setting in the in game graphics menu that solves the issue. I had to go from low-medium and I did lose a few frames but its worth it not to crash all the time. Others who have had this problem have also tried this with great success
