Settings in your recording program Please tell mw what program it is

bandi cam and when i record i got the sound but no picture.

Run gta iv in a windowed mode to get the picture.

if you are running bandicam, there should be a setting that allows you to choose the resolution of the video, choose the setting that is the largest, and should be the resolution of you computer screen.

Is window mode the full screen?

The screen is black.

While recording. I can see the game but when i replay the vid it shows a black video

No, it is not full screen you can play the game and see the desktop at the same time that is what I do and it works fine here is how you do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnaPv5rJh6Y

Or, you can set it to directx mode and minimise bandicam. It works just fine then.
